World Bank pledges any help to state to achieve its economic goals

The World Bank reiterates that it's ready to increase its full help towards state. The new UN agency country director Dr. Idah Pswarayi-Riddihough expressed this once she met government minister Ravi Karunanayake Wed morning (July 20). The meeting between Dr. Idah Pswarayi-Riddihough and government minister Ravi Karunanayake was command at the Ministry of Finance.

Ms. Riddihough expressed that state is facing economic challenges with success and walking forward effectively.

Dr. Idah Pswarayi-Riddihough could be a Zimbabwean national. She joined the planet Bank in 1995. She holds a pH scale.D degree in natural resources/forestry from university and has served as Director of Operational Services and Quality within the South Asian Region.

Dr. Riddihough is regular to assume duties within the month of August, 2016.

Serving country director of UN agency Francoise Clottes and Secretary of the Finance Ministry Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga conjointly participated within the meeting.

The total UN agency help provided for town development activities in state is US$202 million. Earlier, 147 million US bucks are provided for metropolis and Galle development activities beneath the Strategic Cities Development project. This loan has been granted at a awfully low rate of interest beneath a protracted amount of compensation.
